He is the founder and president of the Center for Pluralism, Director at the World Muslim Congress, a think tank, and a wedding officiant at Interfaith Marriages. It is the 3rd wedding I have officiated at the Gazebo on the Washington Mall – I have also officiated at Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials; the next should be the Supreme Court. I love the range of races, ethnicities, cultures, and faiths. Someday, I can say I have officiated every religion, race, ethnicity, culture, and nationality.
